Today, we, me and Smaller, were waiting for Appa to come home. It was almost dinner time. She suddenly looks up from her Rhymes CD and calls out to me saying ‘Cho-th-tha podu’ (ச்சோத்த போடு means give me food).
Shocking on two accounts! One, she is voluntarily asking for food. Second, is her choice of her words.
Really wondering where she picked up that phrase from. None in the family, that is me or him, use that. I’m having a hard time recollecting if anyone we met/ talked recently said something like that. Even if they did its surprising that she is able to use it in the right context.
She is growing up. God!
